What is your Return Policy?

At Backyard Locker, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
  • If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@backyardlocker.com and we’ll look into it immediately.

6. Restocking Fees

In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.

The Voyager is designed with two deluxe aluminum adjustable seats on either end of the fully molded middle seat, which makes it perfect for a kid, pet, or extra baggage when touring.

Take your 12-foot fishing or family kayak out on lakes, rivers, or oceans, for a day of fun with your pet, pal, partner or progeny in this 2-plus-1 setup. Or paddle solo for some alone time with nature. Just add one of their deluxe foam padded seats in the middle.
At 32-inches wide, The Vanhunks Voyager Deluxe family kayak leads the fleet with multiple storage compartments, bungee spaces, and hatches to stash your food, tent, and supplies. At the same time, your rods rest in molded and swivel rod holders, and you settle in for your journey on the comfortable adjustable aluminum chair.
The Vanhunks Voyager kayak is comfortable, stable, and easy to paddle, ensuring your attention can be where you want it. All inserts and fixtures are premium quality and secured with marine-grade stainless steel bolts and captive brass inserts.
The comfortable carry handle on each side, and either end of the kayak, make it easy enough to pick up the 77lb family kayak and carry it down to the water’s edge for launching.
With a 550lb weight capacity, your Voyager Deluxe is UV-resistant, extremely durable, and is the ultimate kayak for family and friends of any kayaking skill level.

The hull design prioritizes accessibility to storage areas and effortless handling. It features a deep V at the bow, transitioning into a flat midsection with deep twin arches, and ending in a deep V at the stern for stability and easy paddling.

The Bluefin offers ample storage with bungee-corded equipment tank wells at the bow and stern, along with two front hatches secured by plastic covers and quick-release buckles. Each hatch cover also features a molded-in cup holder.
